Skill Level 2 Performs duties shown in preceding skill level and provides guidance to subordinate soldiers. Operates SIGINT/ EW equipment, assists in the establishment of operational sites, and maintains technical data bases in support of collection operations. Recognizes and reports items of intelligence interest. Performs intermediate signals analysis to determine signal parameters for identification. Performs collection management function in support of collection operations. Quality controls processing and reporting procedures.
Skill Level 3 Performs duties shown in preceding skill level. Supervises collection and identification activities and allocates collection resources to support/meet mission requirements. Coordinates interaction with other data collection and processing activities. Prepares technical reports and quality controls technical data bases in support of collection operations. Performs advanced signals analysis to determine signal parameters for identification. Supervises processing and reporting. Supervises collection management process.
Skill Level 4 Performs duties shown in preceding skill level. Supervises and determines SIGINT collection requirements and identification activities and interprets collection priorities at the platoon level.
Skill Level 5 Performs duties shown in preceding skill level. Supervises immediate subordinates in SIGINT/EW operations and command procedures. Coordinates tactical and strategic signals collection/identification and provides appraisals of intelligence products, activities, and operations. Develops unit intelligence training strategy.
