Skill Level 1 Performs repair of gas turbine power plants/ packs, diesel power plants/packs, compression ignition engine fuel systems, compression ignition air induction systems, vehicle air cooling systems, vehicle liquid cooling systems, track hull electrical systems, automatic transmission assemblies, track vehicle cross drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, hydraulic brake systems, mechanical/hydraulic steering systems, track vehicle hydraulic assemblies, and fire extinguisher/suppression systems. Repair track vehicle using battlefield damage assessment and repair (BDAR).

Skill Level 2 Performs duties in preceding skill level, supervises lower grade soldiers, and provides technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties.

Skill Level 3 Performs duties in preceding skill levels, perform and supervise fuel and electrical systems repairer (MOS 63G) duties, and performs and supervises wheel vehicle repairer (MOS 63W) duties. Supervise and repair of fuel systems, fuel system components, electrical systems, electrical system components, turbine engines, diesel engines, cooling systems, transmissions, brake systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, auxiliary drives, and personnel heaters. Inspects and troubleshoots tracked vehicle automotive systems, wheel vehicles, and classify equipment.

Skill Level 4 Performs duties in preceding skill levels. Supervises the inspection and troubleshooting of tracked vehicle automotive systems and wheeled vehicles. Manages battlefield damage assessment and repair.
